The Race Organiser

Portlaoise Sprint Try-athlon is organised by Trilogy Triathlon, the local triathlon club in Laois. 

At the Club's AGM, the club elected a new Race Director for the 2012 race.  Sinéad Wearen picks up the baton from Alan Cussen who organised the 2011 race.

Sinéad will be entering her 7th year in triathlon and has participated in many events.  She has recently qualified as a Level I Triathlon coach.  TriLaois will be the first Triathlon she has organised but she is building on her experience from previous aquathons organised for juniors.  Her love of the sport stems from the fact that Triathlon is accessible to EVERYONE.

Sinéad is ably assisted by a panel of senior members of Trilogy Triathlon including Denise Murphy - level II Triathlon coach & Trish Nicholls - level I Triathlon coach.  Also on hand to help will be previous race directors Patrick Marshall, Kevin Bracken and Alan Cussen.  Sinéad can be contacted at: sinead@trilogy.ie
